1. Overview
CelestForge Publishing (“CelestForge,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates as a service-based publishing platform providing editorial, design, publishing, and distribution support to authors.
All services are customized and initiated only after project confirmation. This policy outlines our terms for cancellation, replacement, and refunds.

2. Service-Based Nature
CelestForge operates as a self-publishing and author-support platform, not a retail book vendor.
All publishing-related services—such as manuscript processing, editing, design, ISBN registration, and printing—are customized and performed on demand.
Therefore, refunds are limited and depend on the stage of service initiation.
3. Cancellation Before Service Commencement
Authors may request cancellation before any editorial, design, or publishing work has started.
Such cancellations must be requested in writing to support@celestforgepublishing.com within 3 working days of payment.
In eligible cases, the refund amount will be processed after deducting applicable payment gateway or processing fees (usually 2–3%).
Once service work begins, the project is considered “in progress” and non-refundable.
4. No Refund After Service Commencement
Once a project has entered any active stage — such as editing, formatting, cover design, ISBN assignment, or digital publishing — it is deemed to have commenced.
In such cases:
No refund will be provided, regardless of project status.
The author may, however, request minor adjustments or service clarifications as per the original plan scope.
This policy ensures fairness to both authors and production teams involved in executing the publishing process.
5. Print-On-Demand and Product Sales
Books sold through print-on-demand channels (including Amazon, Ingram, or other distributors) are printed as per order.
Because they are customized author works:
Orders once placed cannot be canceled or refunded.
CelestForge does not guarantee sales performance or market response of published works.
However, we ensure replacement in cases of printing or delivery defects as detailed below.
6. Replacement Policy for Defective Products
If a printed book or physical material delivered to you is defective or damaged (e.g., missing pages, torn cover, misprint):
You may request a replacement within 7 working days of delivery.
The request must include clear photographs and your order number.
Upon verification, a replacement copy will be sent at no additional cost.
Refunds will not be issued for product defects — only replacements will be provided.
7. Service Delays
CelestForge strives to deliver services within agreed timelines.
However, certain delays may occur due to:
Author’s delayed approvals, feedback, or manuscript corrections
Technical or external factors (e.g., printing backlogs, courier issues)
In such cases, refunds are not applicable, but CelestForge will make reasonable efforts to expedite completion.
8. Payment Errors or Duplicates
If any duplicate payment or transactional error occurs during online payment:
Authors must notify us immediately via support@celestforgepublishing.com with proof of payment.
Verified duplicate payments will be refunded within 7–10 working days to the original payment method.
All payments are processed securely through approved gateways; CelestForge does not store card details.
9. Digital Deliverables and eBooks
Digital deliverables (e.g., eBook files, formatted PDFs, agreement copies, or design assets) once delivered are non-refundable.
In case of download or access issues, we will re-enable or re-deliver files at no extra charge.
10. Partner Services and Third-Party Platforms
Some services such as print distribution, online listing, or global retail availability are executed via third-party networks (e.g., Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Draft2Digital, etc.).
CelestForge is not responsible for:
Refunds or policies governed by these external platforms.
Errors caused by user-uploaded content or policy violations on partner platforms.
All such third-party transactions are governed by their respective refund and dispute terms.
11. Refund Processing Time
All eligible refunds (where applicable) are processed within 7–10 working days of approval.
Refunds are made through the same payment method used during purchase.
Delays may occur due to bank or payment processor timelines, for which CelestForge is not responsible.
12. Force Majeure
CelestForge will not be liable for any delay, interruption, or failure in service due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Internet or system outages
Government restrictions
Strikes or labor issues
Acts of war or cyberattacks
Such circumstances do not entitle users to refunds.
13. Policy Updates
CelestForge reserves the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice.
Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this website.
