Q1. What is CelestForge Publishing?
CelestForge Publishing is an independent self-publishing platform that empowers authors to publish, distribute, and manage their works with full transparency.
We provide editorial, design, legal, and royalty management tools to help authors bring their books to life—both in print and digital form.
Q2. How is CelestForge different from traditional publishers?
Traditional publishers acquire rights and control pricing and distribution.
At CelestForge, authors retain full ownership of their manuscripts and copyrights.
We simply assist in the professional production and distribution process under a transparent royalty system.
2. Manuscript Submission
Q3. How do I submit my manuscript?
You can submit your manuscript through our “Get Published” or Author Dashboard section.
Upload your manuscript file (PDF/DOCX) via the submission form.
Our editorial team will review it and get in touch for next steps.
Q4. What types of books do you accept?
We accept fiction, non-fiction, poetry, academic research, educational works, and creative compilations.
However, we do not publish content that is plagiarized, defamatory, hateful, or violates copyright or legal restrictions.
Q5. Can I publish in multiple languages?
Yes. CelestForge accepts manuscripts in English and several Indian languages.
However, language editing services are currently available only for English manuscripts.
3. Editing & Design
Q6. Do you offer editing and proofreading services?
Yes. We offer professional copyediting, proofreading, and developmental editing services as part of selected publishing plans.
Q7. Can I provide my own cover design?
Yes. Authors may upload their own cover designs during submission.
Our design team also provides assistance in creating custom covers that meet print standards.
Q8. What file formats do you accept?
We currently accept .doc, .docx, and .pdf for manuscripts and .jpg, .png, or .tiff for cover images.
4. Agreements & Legal
Q9. Is there a publishing agreement?
Yes. Once your manuscript is accepted, you’ll sign a digital publishing agreement through your Author Dashboard.
It covers copyright, royalties, and publishing terms, and is digitally signed and timestamped for authenticity.
Q10. Is my work protected legally?
Yes. All works published via CelestForge remain the copyright property of the author.
For additional legal proof, you may also register your copyright with the Indian Copyright Office, though it’s optional.
Q11. Do you issue blockchain-based publication proof?
Yes. Every signed agreement and final manuscript is timestamped on blockchain for immutable proof of authorship and publication date.
This provides additional protection even before formal copyright registration.
5. Printing & Publishing
Q12. How long does it take to publish my book?
The publishing process typically takes 2–4 weeks after you submit your final approved manuscript and cover.
This includes formatting, proofreading, and setup on distribution channels.
Q13. Do I get printed copies of my book?
Yes. You can order author copies directly through your dashboard at author-discounted rates.
We also list your book on major online marketplaces once distribution is enabled.
Q14. Can I make changes after publishing?
Yes. Minor corrections (like typos or metadata updates) can be made by submitting a revision request.
Major content changes may require a re-publishing fee or a new edition.
6. Distribution & Availability
Q15. Where will my book be available?
Your book can be made available on Amazon (India & Global), Ingram, and CelestForge Bookstore.
International distribution depends on your chosen publishing plan.
Q16. Can I sell my book directly on my website?
Yes. You are free to sell your book anywhere—your own site, social media, or through local stores—since you retain all rights.
Q17. Does CelestForge guarantee book sales?
No publisher can guarantee sales. However, we provide marketing support, visibility tools, and author promotions to help your book reach the right audience.
7. Royalties & Payments
Q18. How are royalties calculated?
Royalties are calculated based on net receipts from each sale (after distributor and print costs).
Your Author Dashboard includes a built-in Royalty Calculator showing estimated and earned royalties.
Q19. How and when do I get paid?
Royalties are credited to your registered bank account or PayPal account every quarter (January, April, July, October).
Payments are processed after sales reports are verified.
Q20. Do you deduct taxes?
Yes. As per Indian law, TDS may be deducted before payment for Indian authors.
Foreign authors may receive payment via international transfer without Indian tax deductions, depending on their country’s tax treaties.
8. Refunds, Cancellations & Replacements
Q21. Can I cancel my publishing order?
You may cancel before service commencement, as per our Refund Policy.
Once editing, formatting, or design work begins, refunds are not permitted.
Q22. What if I receive damaged or misprinted copies?
We replace defective or damaged copies at no cost, provided a replacement request is made within 7 working days of delivery with photos of the defect.
Q23. Can readers return or refund books?
Since our books are printed on demand, returns and refunds are not available unless there is a printing or production defect.
9. Shipping & Delivery
Q24. How long does delivery take?
Within India, delivery typically takes 5–10 business days after dispatch.
International orders may take 15–30 business days depending on the postal system.
Q25. How can I track my shipment?
Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number and courier link.
You can also track shipments via your Author Dashboard.
10. Data & Account Security
Q26. Is my data safe with CelestForge?
Yes. We follow strong data security standards and comply with India’s DPDP Act 2023 and IT Act 2000.
All sensitive data, including royalty and banking information, is encrypted and stored securely.
Q27. What happens to my data if I delete my account?
Upon verified deletion request, your account data is erased from our active systems, except records required for accounting or legal compliance.
Q28. Do you share author data with third parties?
No. We only share data with trusted service providers (printers, couriers, or payment processors) essential for fulfilling publishing services.
11. Marketing & Promotion
Q29. Does CelestForge promote my book?
Yes. Basic marketing support is included in all publishing plans.
Additional paid services like author interviews, book trailers, and press releases are also available.
Q30. Can I promote my book myself?
Absolutely. You retain all marketing rights and may independently promote your book through any online or offline channels.

Q32. What are your support hours?
Our support team is available Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM (IST).
Queries received outside these hours are addressed on the next working day.
13. Compliance & Legal
Q33. What laws govern CelestForge operations?
CelestForge operates under the laws of India and complies with the Information Technology Act (2000), DPDP Act (2023), and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules (2020).
All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
Q34. Are CelestForge’s international addresses registered offices?
No. Our U.S. and U.K. addresses are virtual correspondence points only, used for communication and representation purposes—not physical branches.
