Author Agreement – CelestForge Publishing

This Author Agreement outlines the terms between CelestForge Publishing (“Publisher”) and the Author regarding manuscript submissions, publication, royalties, and intellectual property rights.

1. Scope of Agreement

This agreement applies to all manuscripts, cover designs, and digital deliverables submitted to CelestForge Publishing for review and publication under the author’s name.

2. Copyright Ownership

The Author retains full copyright ownership of the work. By submitting a manuscript, the Author grants CelestForge Publishing a non-exclusive, worldwide license to publish, distribute, and market the work through Ingram Global Distribution and affiliated retailers.

3. Editorial and Production Rights

The Publisher may make necessary editorial or formatting adjustments to ensure professional quality, readability, and distribution compatibility. No major content changes will be made without author consent.

4. Royalties and Payments

Authors are entitled to royalties as per the publishing plan agreed upon. Royalties are tracked via the Authors Dashboard and disbursed quarterly once distributor reports are received.

5. Author Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate author details and contact information.
  • Submit original, non-infringing content.
  • Review and approve proofs before publication.
  • Promote the published work ethically and in alignment with CelestForge’s guidelines.

6. Publisher Responsibilities

  • Ensure transparent communication and royalty reporting.
  • Maintain author data confidentiality.
  • Distribute and market titles through Ingram and partner networks.

7. Termination and Revocation

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days’ written notice. Upon termination, all digital listings and royalty processing will cease, and rights revert fully to the Author.

8. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the applicable laws of India. For international authors, CelestForge’s legal correspondence offices in the U.S. and U.K. are virtual addresses for communication only.
